Below is an 8 day / 7 night itinerary to give a general idea of our Heritage & Wildlife of Madhya Pradesh itinerary starting from Khajuraho and ending at Jabalpur:

Day 1 to 3 - Khajuraho

Arrive at Khajuraho where you spend the next 2-3 days visiting the different groups of temples.
Built by the Chandela dynasty between the 8th and 9th century, these temples have been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There are three groups of Hindu and Jain temples, of which the Western group with the Khandariya Mahadev temple is the most spectacular.
You can also visit the Adivart Museum of Tribal and Folk Art.

Khajuraho Dance Festival is held between February and March

Day 4 - Ken River & Panna

Drive to the Raneh falls before continuing to Panna National Park area where you can go on a wildlife safari and also visit the gorgeous Ken River gorge.
Overnight at a river lodge.

Day 5 & 6 - Bandhavgarh National Park

Continue to the Bandhavgarh National Park where you stay for two nights and enjoy elephant rides and jeep safaris into the forest. Known for its high density of tigers and sightings, it is also home to unique bird species and other animals including the leopard, deer, jackal, nilgai, sloth bear and hyena.

Day 7 & 8 - Marble rocks & Jabalpur

Finish your Madhya Pradesh break at Jabalpur where you can visit the beautiful Dhuadhar waterfalls and the Marble Rocks. It might be possible to take a boat ride through the spectacular gorge.
Fly out of Jabalpur.
